Gwyneth Guthrie

A British actress, who played Mrs Mary Mack in 138 episodes of Scottish drama Take the High Road (1983-2003), which changed its name to High Road in 1994. Guthrie’s acting career started in the 1950s on television, with roles in the feature length The Black Eye (1958) and The Other Dear Charmer (1958). She would also land roles in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1978), Kevin Turvey: The Man Behind the Green Door (1982), Doctor Finlay (1996) and Taggart (1997), among others.
