A British documentary producer and TV executive who joined Yorkshire Television 1979, McKee led the media campaign to free the Guildford Four through a series of films including The Guildford Time Bomb (1986). He went on to receive BAFTA nominations for Tina Goes Shopping (1999) and Beautiful New Minds (2007).
