Geoffrey Davies

A British actor, who’s best known for his part in a series of Doctor... medical sitcoms, based on Richard Gordon’s novels. Geoffrey Davies made his screen debut in the biting satirical film Oh! What a Lovely War (1969), almost fresh out of RADA, and then followed this with his most famous role as Dr Dick Stuart-Clark, first in Doctor in the House (1969-1970), then reprising the role in subsequent series Doctor at Large (1971), Doctor in Charge (1972-1973), Doctor at Sea (1974), Doctor on the Go (1975-1977), Doctor Down Under (1979) and Doctor at the Top (1991). Other notable roles included episodes of Bergerac (1981-1984), The Other ’Arf (1981), The Bretts (1987), The Labours of Erica (1989-1990), Law and Disorder (1994) and EastEnders (2002).
