Although she appeared in several movies, including Tom Brown’s Schooldays (1940) and The Kid From Texas (1950), Storm was better known as a television star in her native US. A rival in popularity to Lucille Ball, her comedy vehicles include My Little Margie (1952-55) and The Gale Storm Show (1956-60).
