A British director best known for directing 16 episodes of Doctor Who (1982-1984) featuring Peter Davison’s Fifth Doctor, Cumming’s other credits included The Master of Ballantrae (1975), Z Cars (1974-1977) and Blakes 7 (1980). She also served as associate producer on 42 episodes of High Road (1988-1989).
