A British actress best known for her role as Valeria the vampire in Carry on Screaming (1966), Fielding’s “do you mind if I smoke?” in the Hammer Horror parody became one of the most enduring jokes in the long-running franchise. Her other notable credits included Doctor in Distress (1963) and Drop Dead Darling (1966).
