A Scottish actress who began her career on the stage after training at Rada, Sellars embarked on a film career defined by supporting roles in the likes of Floodtide (1949), Madeleine (1950) and Hunted (1952). A stint in Hollywood saw her appear in The Barefoot Contessa (1954), Desiree (1954) and Prince of Players (1955).
