Eleanor Scoones

A British producer and director, who specialised in making historical factual television programming. A Cambridge University history graduate, Eleanor Scoones started out as a researcher on the likes of The Trial of Tony Blair and Confessions of a Diary Secretary (both 2007), before moving into producing and directing. She worked on such series as At Home with the Georgians (2010), If Walls Could Talk (2011), Harlots, Housewives & Heroines (2012), Russia’s Lost Princesses (2014), Dancing Cheek to Cheek (2014), Cake Bakers & Trouble Makers: Lucy Worsley’s 100 Years of the WI (2015), Dan Cruickshank: At Home with the British (2016), Who Do You Think You Are? (2017-2020), A House Through Time, Lucy Worsley’s Royal Palace Secrets (both 2020) and Agatha Christie: Lucy Worsley on the Mystery Queen (2022).
