Douglas Slocombe

A British cinematographer who will go down as one of the greatest to ever practice his craft, Slocombe was self-taught and shot classics from King Hearts and Coronets (1949) to Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981). He received ten BAFTA nominations, winning for The Servant (1963), The Great Gatsby (1974) and Julia (1977).
