A British actor best known for his role as PC Quilley in Z Cars (1969-1978), Fielding’s character was eventually promoted to Sergeant during his 340-episode run through to the show’s end. He later played a policeman again on EastEnders (1985-1986), and his other credits included Holding On (1999) and Silent Witness (2018).
