A former girlfriend of cult director Ed Wood, Fuller took the female lead in his film Glen Or Glenda (1953). When acting roles proved harder to find she enjoyed a second career as a songwriter for Elvis Presley movies including Blue Hawaii (1961), Kid Galahad (1962) and Girl Happy (1965).
