A British actress, who started to make a name for herself on the stage as a singer and dancer. Although her heart appeared to belong to theatre, she did appear on British television, too, especially in light entertainment and sketch shows. These included The Frankie Howerd Show (1969), Scott On... (1971), The Morecambe & Wise Show (1976) and The Two Ronnies (1972-1984). Dramatic performances included United! (1966), Coronation Street (1966) and the film Theatre of Death (1967).
