A British writer, director and actor whose career began in a Soho satirical sketch group, Cunningham went on to become a comedy writer in Hollywood and a director across film, theatre, radio and television. He was a pioneer when it came to introducing feature film techniques to his award-winning commercial, corporate and information films.
