David Seidler

A British writer, who won two BAFTAs, an Oscar and a BIFA award for The King’s Speech (2010). David Seidler moved to the US as a child during World War II and it was there that he broke into the industry, writing for the Adventures of the Seaspray series (1966-67). He would go on to pen multiple episodes of Days of Our Lives (1980), as well as such animated fare as Quest For Camelot (1998) and The King and I (1999). Other live-action work included Malice in Wonderland (1985), Onassis: The Richest Man in the World and Tucker: The Man and His Dream (both 1988).
