A British television writer who was best known for his work on the Tom Baker iteration Doctor Who (1978-1980), Fisher wrote serials including The Stones of Blood and City of Death. His other credits included Orlando (1967), The Troubleshooters (1969-1970) and Hammer House of Horror (1980).
