A British director, producer and writer known for his films on British wildlife, Cobham’s work ranged from The Vanishing Hedgerows (1973) to Tarka the Otter (1978). He received five BAFTA nominations; three for Woof! (1989-1997), one for The Goshawk (1968), and won for Explorers: Amundsen (1976).
