Darryl Macdonald

A Canadian executive best known for co-founding the Seattle International Film Festival alongside Dan Ireland, Macdonald and Ireland launched the venture in 1976 after relaunching the city’s Moore Theatre. Macdonald also programmed the first four years of the Palm Springs International Film Festival from 1989 before becoming the festival’s executive director.
