A British actress who found fame as Emma Peel in The Avengers (1965-1968), Rigg’s credits included On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969), The Painted Veil (2006) and Game of Thrones (2013-2017). She won a BAFTA for her role in Mother Love (1989) and was a joint recipient of a Special Award in 2000 for The Avengers.
