A British actress who found fame as a member of the Carry On team, Windsor showcased her distinctive laugh in nine films from Carry On Spying (1964) to Carry On Dick (1974). She received a Best British Actress BAFTA nomination for Sparrows Can’t Sing (1963), and later became an soap opera icon as Peggy Mitchell in Eastenders (1994-2016).
