A British actress, who made her screen debut in the early 1950s, notching 100-plus credits over a career that lasted four decades. She will be remembered by Doctor Who fans for her prominent role in ‘The Daemons’ (1971), but she also appeared in episodes of such popular series as Steptoe & Son (1964-65), The Tommy Cooper Hour (1974-75) and The Sweeney (1975), as well as films including The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976).
