Dale Meeks

A British actor, who is probably best known for his role as Simon Meredith in Emmerdale (2003-2006). Dale Meeks first broke into television as a child actor on teen drama Byker Grove (1990-1992), playing the leader of a rival youth club, before going on to appear in a series of well-loved British shows. These included Tilly Trotter (1999), Breeze Block (2002), Swiss Toni (2003), Heartbeat (2000, 2008), The Dumping Ground and Inspector George Gently (both 2014), among others. An accomplished singer, he won Stars in Their Eyes Celebrity Special in 2005 with actor Mark Charnock as the Blues Brothers. Most recently, he starred in crime drama The Hunt for Raoul Moat (2023).
