A British special effects buyer, technician and storeman, who came to working in the film industry late in life as the father of the Corbould special effects dynasty, namely Chris, Ian, Paul, Neil and Gail. His debut film, at the age of 70, was Stephen Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan (1998) as assistant buyer, and he would go on to work on such blockbusters as Entrapment (1999), Gladiator (2000), The Mummy Returns (2001), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), the Clash of the Titans remake (2010), War Horse (2011) and RED 2 (2013).
