A British make-up artist, who won a BAFTA in 1983 for his work on Quest for Fire (1981). Christopher Tucker was nominated twice more in 1985 for his make-up and special visual effects for The Company of Wolves (1984) and he would earn two Primetime Emmy nominations for War and Remembrance (1988). His work went uncredited on The Go-Between (1971), Up the Front (1972), I, Claudius (1976), Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) and Dune (1984), with his first named credit on The Neptune Factor (1973). Other credited work included The Boys from Brazil (1978), Wetherby (1985), High Spirits (1988) and The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall (2011). He also created the look of the Elephant Man in the titular film (1980).
