Charles Armitage

A British producer who ran Noel Gay productions alongside his brother Alex after their father passed away in 1986, Armitage founded the Noel Gay Motion Picture Company in 1993 which went on to co-produce films including Trainspotting (1996). He had a long association with the sitcom Red Dwarf and was an instrumental figure in its return to television in 2009.
