An American actor, producer and writer who became a legend of American comedy, Reiner found early success as the creator of The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-1966). He went on to direct Steve Martin in films including The Jerk (1979) and Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid (1982), and notably starred in the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy (2001-2007).
