An American producer and director who was a long time business partner of Norman Lear, Yorkin executive produced classics including All In The Family (1971-1979) and Sanford and Son (1972-1977). He received seven Emmy nominations, winning for both writing and directing An Evening With Fred Astaire (1958), and directing on The Jack Benny Program (1960).
