An American character designer and animator, Luckey was best known for his later career work with Pixar where he worked on films including Toy Story (1995), Monsters, Inc (2001) and Cars (2006). He wrote and directed the Oscar-nominated animated short Boundin’ (2003) and contributed chives to Toy Story 3 (2010) and Winnie the Pooh (2011).
