An American actor who found fame playing Sheriff Will Teasle in First Blood (1982), Dennehy went on to notable roles in Cocoon (1985) and F/X (1986). On the small screen he starred as John Wayne Gacy in To Catch A Killer (1992), and he won Tony and Olivier awards for his performance in Death of a Salesman.
