Bob Baker

A British writer, who is well-known to Doctor Who fans for co-creating the Timelord’s robotic dog, K9, in one of nine stories he co-wrote with Dave Martin for the series (1971-1979). He had many other writing credits, including Follow Me (1977) and Into the Labyrinth (1981-1982) and earned BAFTA recognition for his work with Nick Park on the Wallace and Gromit films. He co-wrote the half-hour shorts The Wrong Trousers (1993), A Close Shave (1995) and A Matter of Loaf and Death (2008), as well as the feature-length The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005), winning BAFTAs for the latter two.
