A British actor best known for his role as the lovable rogue Claude Greengrass in Heartbeat (1992-2000), Maynard was also synonymous with his title role in the ITV sitcom Oh No, It’s Selwyn Froggitt! (1974-1977). He also notably starred in five Carry On movies between 1970 and 1974.
