A fixture on British television for over 50 years, the Birmingham-born actor was best known for his role as the pathologist Dr. Bullard on Midsomer Murders (1997-2011). Early in his career, Jackson worked as a stuntman and fight director, and also appeared in a number of episodes of Doctor Who (1965-1979).
