An American actress who was a founding members of Chicago’s famous Second City improv theatre, Harris became a Tony-winning star on Broadway. On the big screen she was Oscar nominated for Who Is Harry Kellerman and Why Is He Saying Those Terrible Things About Me? (1971), and other notable credits included Nashville (1975), Freaky Friday (1976) and Grosse Pointe Blank (1996).
