A British editor and regular collaborator of directors Norman Jewison and John Frankenheimer, Gibbs’ credits included Jesus Christ Superstar (1973), Dune (1984) and Ronin (1998). He received BAFTA nominations for his work on Performance (1970), Fiddler on the Roof (1971), Rollerball (1975) and A Bridge Too Far (1977).
