A British director and writer, who is best known for such genre films as Waxwork 1 and 2: Lost in Time (1988, 1992), Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992) and Warlock: The Armageddon (1993). As well as horror, Anthony Hickox was also known for his thriller and action films, including the likes of Payback (1995), Invasion of Privacy (1996), Storm Catcher (1999), Last Run (2001), Consequence (2003), Blast (2004) and Infamous Six (2020). He also helmed the fantasy adventure Prince Valiant (1997) and three episodes of television series Extreme (1995). Hickox was also an occasional actor, including cameoing in many of his own films, notching up 23 onscreen credits.
