A British character actress best known for starring in the sitcom French Fields (1984-1986), Beach went into acting after winning a scholarship to RADA and began her career on the stage. Her notable screen credits included Hotel Paradiso (1966), Oliver Twist (1982), King Ralph (1991) and Notting Hill (1999).
