A British director of photography for Yorkshire Television, working on such series as Where the Heart Is (2003), A Dinner of Herbs (2000), Peak Practice (1995) and Stay Lucky (1989-1993). Pyrah worked his way up from clapper boy to lighting cameraman to camera operator to dop, with early credits including Harry’s Game, Airline (both 1982) and Whicker’s World (1978-1980).
