An American casting director who began her career as an actor before moving into casting in the 1950s, Gordin went on to cast classics including Scarface (1983) and Prizzi’s Honor (1985). She was a regular collaborator of director Alan J. Pakula, casting ten of his films such as Klute (1971) and Sophie’s Choice (1982).
