A British director and animator who was respected for his knowledge of the craft and instinct for storytelling, Short brought his expertise to Aardman as they were developing computer animation. He directed commercials and the comedic short Fly (2010), became Aardman’s Head of CGI, and was Animation Director on the Aardman/Sony animated CG feature Arthur Christmas (2011), which received two BAFTA nominations.
