An American sound editor whose work earned him two Oscars as well as eight nominations and six BAFTA nominations, most recently for Joker (2019). Best known for his 32 collaborations with director Clint Eastwood, his credits also include The Warriors (1979), Fatal Attraction (1987), New Jack City (1991), Invictus (2009), Sicario (2015) and A Star is Born (2018), among his 100-plus films.
