A British producer and director, who was a three-time BAFTA nominee, twice for his work on Last of the Summer Wine (1981-2010) and once for Lost for Words (1999), the latter also winning him an Emmy. Other notable work included Crackerjack! (1978), Call My Bluff (1977-1982), The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (1981) and Wyatt’s Watchdogs (1988).
