A British character actor whose career spanned six decades. He made his debut in 1956’s The Black Brigand and would go on to land roles in a host of British television series. Among his credits are The Avengers (1962), Compact (1962-64), Doctor Who (1966), The Morecambe & Wise Show (1969-71) and Footballer’s Wives (2003). He also appeared in two Carry On... movies, Henry (1971) and Abroad (1972).
