BAFTA Scotland Awards 2023: Full List of Nominations

BAFTA has today announced the nominations for the BAFTA Scotland Awards, honouring excellence and celebrating talent across the Scottish screen industries.

The BAFTA Scotland Awards are back, and are set to be the biggest celebration of the Scottish screen industries this year. Edith Bowman returns to host the ceremony at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central on Sunday 19 November, and will be joined by a host of stars to announce the winners on the night. The ceremony will also be available to watch on BAFTA’s YouTube channel.

Nominations have also been announced for the BAFTA Audience Award: Favourite Scot on Screen. Vote here.

Highlights from today’s nominations include:

  • Aftersun (five nominations) – Actor Film, Actress Film, Director Fiction, Feature Film, Writer Film/Television
  • Mayflies (three nominations) – Actor Television, Actress Television, Television Scripted
  • Karen Pirie (three nominations) – Actress Television, Director Fiction, Television Scripted
  • My Old School (two nominations) - Director Factual, Feature Film
  • Three Mothers, Two Babies and a Scandal (two nominations) – Director Factual, Specialist Factual
