– The UK is the usual place of residency (currently residing or resident for a minimum of six years when the entry was made)
– The UK is the usual place of employment for the candidate(s) for nomination
– The UK is the place of birth or naturalisation - Entries can be made to either the BAFTA Television and Television Craft Awards or the BAFTA Film Awards, not both
- Specific restrictions may apply for certain categories. To check these and further details on all general restrictions please refer to the Rulebook in the Rules And Guidelines section above

Entries can be submitted by broadcasters, independent production companies, directors, producers, writers, BAFTA members and all those credited in principle craft roles on the credits of a programme.
Where broadcasters and production companies are not entering a particular craft person they are expected to oblige in sharing material to that person in the event they wish to self-enter – unless there are sound reasons not to (eg. such as an ongoing dispute).
