BAFTA is a British organisation with a vibrant international community of members and a global outlook. BAFTA branches in North America, Scotland and Wales have dedicated awards, screenings and events programmes, and initiatives designed to support talent and celebrate excellence in local industries. BAFTA North America
Professional membership
Professional (branch) membership is available to those who are not eligible for Full Membership but are currently employed in the industry and have a minimum of five years professional experience in the film, games or television industries in the U.S. Eligibility requires a demonstrated commitment, ability, and desire to promote the profile and support the goals of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in North America. This membership is not eligible to vote for BAFTA Awards.

- Access to BAFTA North America's programme of events and screenings in New York, Los Angeles and online
- Access to the members’ spaces at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly when visiting London

BAFTA Scotland
Branch membership
Available to individuals living and working in Scotland with a minimum of three years professional experience in the film, television or video games industries or in any field directly related to them (e.g. research, acting or teaching).
Benefits of BAFTA Scotland Branch membership:
- Access to BAFTA Scotland’s programme of in-person events, networking and screenings in Glasgow and fortnightly Thursdays in Edinburgh
- Access to BAFTA View, our online streaming platform for awards entries and a year-round programme of titles from our in-person screenings programme
- Voting and viewing rights for the BAFTA Scotland Awards
- Reduced rate members’ tickets for the BAFTA Scotland Awards

BAFTA Cymru
Branch membership
Available to individuals living and working in Wales with a minimum of three years professional experience in the film, television or video games industries or in any field directly related to them (e.g. research, acting or teaching).

- Access to BAFTA View, our online streaming platform for awards entries and a year-round programme of titles from our in-person screenings programme

- Access to BAFTA 195 Piccadilly when visiting London

We don't want membership fees to be a barrier to joining and we may be able to offer support with fees. An ongoing fee reduction is also available for deaf and disabled members. Find out more.
