Elena Moreno

BAFTA Bridge Scholar

Elena Moreno is awarded the BAFTA Bridge Scholarship. Moreno is a Mexican-American screenwriter and director based in Los Angeles. She uses her unique perspective to highlight stories centered on people on the periphery. Moreno is committed to spotlighting underrepresented communities in film and television.

Moreno has written, produced, and directed one documentary, Form N-400, and two narrative short films, Shut Me Up and Ditchday.

Elena Moreno is currently pursuing a degree in Film, Television, and Media Studies and Screenwriting at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California.
