Frida Perez

Frida Perez is a Dominican-American writer and producer originally from the Bronx, New York. Frida co-created the AppleTV+ series The Studio which won 13 Emmy’s, two of which Frida personally won for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy and Outstanding Comedy Series.

Frida began her career as a Hollywood assistant while writing and directing short films in her limited spare time. She was awarded the Sundance Ignite Fellowship for her first short film White Noise and was selected by NALIP for their Incubator which supported her third short film Detox.

Frida also served as Executive Producer for the podcast Storytime with Seth Rogen, which was listed on several year-end “best of” lists. Frida was nominated for Best Scriptwriting for the Ambie Awards for her work.
