Vivian’s breakthrough project is the reality series Love is Blind UK.

It’s all about making a difference for Series Casting Producer Vivian Eguridu. Her breakthrough project, Love is Blind UK (2024-), now in production of its third season, is a case in point: a captivating reality series that’s genuinely trying to help people find their life partners. Creating opportunity for love is one thing, levelling the playing field for talented people to enter the screen industry is something else, but it’s a mission Vivian cares passionately about.

With no industry connections herself, it was a fellow (mature) student who passed on Vivian’s details to her husband, who just happened to be head of production at Shine TV. Four days’ work experience turned into a full-time job as a runner, where she worked her way up the ladder before turning freelance, landing producer roles for the likes of Studio Lambert, BBC, and Lifted Entertainment. She now wants to help break down barriers to entry and make opportunities for others more equitable and less relational. Diversifying the pool of storytellers is also one of the reasons why she co-founded the B Inclusive Task Force in 2020.

“I’m at the stage now that I’m ready to elevate my career to the next level. I want to learn from people who are in a more senior position, so I can then get to that position and create opportunities for others… There are so many talented people out there but the one thing they are missing is opportunity. I feel helping other people is my true purpose.”
