Alice Rohrwacher: Screenwriters’ Lecture
In conversation with... Stacey Dooley
Esmeralda Palacios, or Esme, is a college student residing in Los Angeles majoring in Graphic Design at Santa Monica College.
She said: “I’m an art student who is interested in everything in the creative world. I’m interested in how professionals build their worlds and advertise it for people to see, so the Vance Byrd Mentorship program has piqued my interest.”
Esme is a huge fan of animation, and in particular anime for the depth of the characters dynamics featured and the wide range of subgenres found. She hopes to be an artist in any capacity possible in the future and looks forward to learning from and connecting with others with similar interests through the program.
“I want to be able to make a name for myself. Send a message to the world of being able to accomplish all I wanted and be able to show what I can do,” she said.
