Marc Palomo

Marc Palomo is from Los Angeles, California and he is currently studying Film Production at Los Angeles Valley College.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to seeing what I can do in the program. It reassures me that I’m doing the right things to have a successful career and it motivates me even more to keep working hard to achieve all the things I want to do.”

Marc’s dream is to become a Director and Editor for feature films, which is a passion he developed from a young age when he would film and edit his own YouTube videos. He has already had a few of his short films featured and recognized at various festivals like the Los Angeles Valley College’s Spring 2023 Student Showcase, LAPC Film Club Film Festival, and 2024 San Bernardino Valley College International Student Film Festival. “Being in control of what is happening in the whole film was a challenge that I enjoyed tackling, and in my opinion, seeing the results after all my hard work is one of the best feelings there is”, he said.

Marc hopes to become a director like Christopher Nolan or Quentin Tarantino in the future,  and to be respected and remembered for his talent and work.
