AJ Riach

AJ Riach is a film producer. Since being named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit, AJ’s company Mad As Birds Films has released Set Fire to the Stars, a biopic about poet Dylan Thomas’s later life starring Celyn Jones, Elijah Wood and Kelly Reilly, and is currently in production on its second feature.

As part of the initiative, AJ met with Gravity producer David Heyman and Netflix executive Nina Wolarsky in LA, and has found the networking opportunities invaluable.

AJ says: “Being a Breakthrough Brit is a seal of approval, there is no higher honour in the UK for Film and TV production.”
